Larry Edward Walker, Jr

Larry Edward Walker, Jr., of Searcy, Arkansas passed, away on March 12, 2024, after a long but courageous battle with Diabetes. He was born to Larry Edward Walker, Sr., and Deborah Bayles on March 24, 1984, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Larry was a kindhearted man with love that could fill the world. He enjoyed fishing, squirrel hunting, and hanging out with his friends and family. His favorite hobby was food. He loved going out after soccer games to eat with the family.  Larry and the family spent their childhood playing outside and grew up in cut off jeans and dirt rings. The best summertime memories were made with skinned knees.

In 2018, Larry became very sick and became dependent on others to care for him. After his parents passed, other family members assisted in caring for him. He didn’t mind the nursing home, he enjoyed the company and joking with other residents and staff. He loved people and loved making all his family and friends laugh. Although he was a mama’s boy, he always had his father’s strength and that carried him through his illness.

He made memories with his family and made sure they all knew he cared about them and loved them dearly. He had the kindest soul and always made sure he said “I Love you” before any goodbyes. His contagious smile will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his maternal and fraternal grandparents.

He is survived by his six sisters, two brothers, girlfriend, Shelley, nieces, nephews, friends, and other extended relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Sullivan Funeral Care Chapel in Kensett, Arkansas.
